What are some easy recipes that are fun to make with younger kids?

1:Most recipes are fun for kids, if they can get involved. Usually I buy easy cake kits for my child, and she loves stirring and licking the spoon then decorating with icing and decorations like sprinkles, etc. Pizzas are great, you can challenge them to make pictures on the pizza - usually its faces, etc. If you are unsure, check cbeebies website and look at 'I can cook'. It has great tips, which ensure your children stay safe whilst doing things as well as making it fun. My daughter loves making savory bites and triple decker fish surprise

2: Cookies are good because you can make chocolate chip, or plain and ice them, and pretty much put whatever they want into them, plus make them in fun shapes! And of course fun to eat. Bread is also good because you can see it rise, so it's an interesting process, and again you can add all sorts to it. What do you enjoy making the most? Your kids will pick up on your enthusiasm and this will be the most fun for them. If they can make the decisions then they will feel proud when it's done. Or just ask them what they want to make, they might surprise you!

3: Non-cook cakes are great fun for kids - such as rice crispy cakes, rocky roads and chocolate refridgerator cakes. The bonus is that they taste great too!
